Kyle Jamieson is a cricketer from New Zealand. He is six feet eight inches tall and the tallest player who will play for New Zealand. He is a lower-order batsman and medium-fast bowler. He was part of New Zealand’s squad for the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He made his international debut against India in 2020. Recently in 2021, IPL auction he was bought by team Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB). This player is so impressive thus he was awarded by central contract, ahead of the 2020–21 season. He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler. His role in cricket is a bowler and his tall height may help him best in bowling. Kyle Jamieson was born on 30 December 1994 in Auckland, New Zealand. He is 6 feet 8 inches tall. He completed his schooling at Auckland Grammar school. as his hobby, he started playing cricket and played many domestic cricket matches. He performed so well in his domestic cricket so he got a chance to play for New Zealand Under 19 team and after this, he made his international debut in 2020 in all format.
At the starting of his cricket career, he was an all-rounder player but after the suggestion of his coach, he started doing bowling and started more focusing on bowling. His tall height is helpful for his bowling career. He is a right-arm medium-fast bowler and also he is a right-handed batsman.
He made his T20 debut for Canterbury on 4 December 2016 in the 2016–17 Super Smash. In this debut match, he delivered 3 over and gave 30 runs but can not get any wicket. The debut match was average.
On 1 January 2019, in a match between Auckland Aces and Canterbury Kings in the 2018–19 Super Smash, Jamieson took the best figures by a bowler in a T20 match in New Zealand, and the third-best figures ever, when he took six wickets for seven runs from his four overs. This was the best bowling of his career. In the 4 over giving 7 runs and taking 6 wickets is amazing. He performed so well.
The same year (2019), in December he got a chance to play a Test match for New Zealand against Australia. He was in the squad but he didn’t play the match. 2020 was a golden year for him because he got chances to make his debut in other formats too. This year he made his ODI and Test debut for team New Zealand.
on 8 February 2020, he made his ODI debut against India for team New Zealand. Also, he became the player of the match. This was a great debut for him. In this debut match, he delivered 10 Overs and he took 2 wickets by giving 42 runs also he delivered a medan over. In this debut match, he also got a chance to bat. He scored 25 Runs out of 24 balls with one 4 and two sixes.
On 21 February 2020, he made his test debut against team India. In this test debut, he delivered 14 overs and got 5 wickets and gave 45 runs. This was also his best debut in test match.
On on 27 November 2020, he made his international T20 debut against the West Indies team.
After his great debut in International, he was bought by Royal challengers Banglore in IPL auction 2021 in 15 Crore Rupees.
